“Introduction to Mens Rites of Passage (MROP)”
Is there a need today for male initiation? What would a spiritual Rites of Passage look like? Where can you go for such a thing? We’ll hear from Fr. Richard Rohr, the modern mentor behind these Christ-centred Rites, and from several men of Ottawa who will share their experiences of Rohr’s Mens Rites.
All of our circles, no matter the theme, combine drumming, check-ins, small groups and contemplation.

(I came across this quote in the December 2000 edition of Parabola ... the theme of that edition was Fate and Destiny. I was never comfortable with the word Fate ... but if the deepest part of ourselves is the mystery of the Divine, well that changes everything)
